In Duchesne Theater, students are empowered to express personal, universal, and abstract ideas with confidence, bringing their unique visions to life in an environment of joyful creation. Guided by courage, they take creative risks, exploring new perspectives and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. Through ensemble work, students interpret, write, and perform scripts that explore the many facets of the human experience, cultivating compassion as they connect with diverse stories and foster both creative growth and a strong sense of community.

Middle School
Duchesne Middle School Theater invites students to explore storytelling through puppetry, playwriting, scene work, and more. With one annual performance and the beloved All-School Musical every three years, students develop creativity and collaboration while participating in cherished school traditions.

Upper School
Upper School Theater at Duchesne offers students a rich space to explore all aspects of theater—from acting and design to playwriting and puppetry. All students begin with a shared foundation in Introduction to Theater and then choose their path, whether it's advanced acting, behind-the-scenes design, or developing new elective courses. The Upper School presents one major extracurricular production each year, alternating between plays and musicals. Every third year, Upper School students participate in our cherished All-School Musical, uniting performers from Grades 2–12 in one of Duchesne’s most beloved traditions.
