Additional Information

Teacher Recommendations

The teacher recommendation form can be submitted using one of the following options:

  1. Online Form or PDF Upload: After submitting an application, the teacher recommendation request will be available in your portal checklist. You will enter the teacher or school administrator's email address, and they will receive a notification to fill out the form electronically or upload a PDF file.
  2. Hard Copy PDF: You may mail a paper form to 10202 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77024 Attn: Admissions, or email it as an attachment to admissions@duchesne.org. (Please note that this process will take longer to be marked as “complete” in your checklist.)

Testing

Once the application and fees are received, Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 applicants will be contacted to schedule their group visit. Admissions testing for applicants for Pre-K 4 through fourth grade must register for testing at www.catstexas.com.

Middle School (5–8) and Upper School (9–12) students must register for the ISEE test online at www.iseetest.org. Note that the ISEE test is not required — students may also submit a portfolio of work.

Transcripts

Copies of transcripts, report cards, school records for the current year and previous two school years, and the results of all standardized testing are required for admission prior to acceptance. If the student is accepted, Duchesne must receive official school transcripts prior to her attendance.
