Varsity Tennis Wins in Conference Double-Header

The Chargers were victorious in both singles and doubles matches.

The Varsity Tennis team traveled to Austin on April 19 to face off against St. Andrew's Episcopal School and St. Stephen's Episcopal School in an SPC match-up. Senior Sophia Rogers won both of her matches in two sets with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout against St. Andrew's and defeating St. Stephen's 6-1, 6-3. The Doyle sisters doubles team, Emma ’21 and Caitlin ’ 22, also won both of their matches in two sets, going 6-1, 6-2 against St. Andrew's and 6-2, 6-0 against St. Stephen's. The Chargers' Doubles Line 2 with Mikah Kruezer ’24 and Analys Barinaga ’21 won their match against St. Andrews (6-1, 6-2), followed by Mikah’s second match win with partner Paula Olivera ’24 (6-3, 6-3). 

On April 21, the Varsity team had their Senior Match against Episcopal. We had an incredible 5-0 match win! Sophia Rogers won her match in 2 sets, Maddie Agee went into a super-tiebreaker to win 2-1, Mikah Kreuzer went into a super-tiebreaker to win 2-1, Emma and Caitlin Doyle won their match in 2 sets, followed by our final match win in 2 sets by Sophia Limbert and Analys Barinaga. The girls fought hard on the court and rallied well for points. Our final match of the season is Friday, April 23 against Episcopal.
