For the first time in school history, a freshman is among Duchesne's All-State singers.

Duchesne's Upper School choir sent a record number of singers to perform at this year's All-State Choir competition which was held January 25-26. Senior Gabby Holder was selected for the third year in a row and she was ranked #1 in the Alto 2 section. Joining her this year in the All-State Choir were Juniors Emmalynn Barry, Sylvia Duarte, and Natalie Gonzales. Additionally, for the first time in Duchesne’s history, a freshman, Rose Barry, was selected for All-State. The girls spent the weekend in rehearsals with the other choir members from across the state. They performed a concert on Saturday evening at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas.
