Georgeann Parizek

Sr. Georgeann Parizek, RSCJ holds three advanced degrees: a Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Masters of Supervision and Administration from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans. 

She has served as a teacher and administrative positions in four Sacred Heart Schools: Omaha, Chicago, Bethesda and New Orleans. She is currently serving at the Rosary in New Orleans as the Dean of Students for the Preschool through Fourth Grade students and as a co-chair of the Formation to Mission committee. As a Religious of the Sacred Heart, she has served on several committees of the Society of the Sacred Heart as well as an Area Director in years past.  

Other ministries have included service as the Director of the Thensted Center in Grand Coteau, Director of the Office of Persons with Disabilities at the Diocese of Baton Rouge, and as a Pastoral Associate for 10 years with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge while at the same time providing pastoral services to clients at the Grief Recovery Center.  During her time in Baton Rouge, she also served on the Liturgy, Art, and Music Board (LAMB) for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
