Bob Ivany earned a BS from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin. He retired from the U.S. Army after 34 years of service as a Major General. He retired from the University of St Thomas in 2017 and now serves as President Emeritus. He presently serves on the boards of the Military Child Education Coalition, Allegiance Bancshares and on the Advisory Board of St Ignatius H.S. in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob also teaches leadership with the Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point, N.Y. His four children all benefitted from a Catholic education.
