Guest Artist Walter Wagner Exhibit in Atrium

An exhibit of artwork by Walter Wagner is currently on exhibit in the Fine Arts building Atrium. As part of the exhibit, the Upper School held brown bag lunch and discussion with Mr. Wagner on Monday, March 6, 2006. A reception for the artist will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006. The exhibit will run through Friday, March 24, 2006.

Mr. Wagner instructs studio, art appreciation and art history courses at Houston Community Colleges and Cy-Fair Community College. He holds a BFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University and a MFA in Printmaking from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Of his work he says, “The Baha’i Faith continues to inform my work. Principles such as service to humanity, the belief in the spiritual nature of our existence, and the belief in the creative process being spiritual in essence are crucial components of my work.”
