Once again, Duchesne will sponsor, along with Tony and Phyllis Mandola, the annual Pajama and Pancake Literacy night at Ninfa Laurenzo Early Childhood Center. This is a joyful evening, the brainchild of Carmen Rogina, the principal, which brings the parents and children to school for an evening of literacy training. As part of this evening, our students donate the pajamas in which the students arrive, all proud and ready for their reading activities, and this year, we are bringing gently-used books for them to take home to encourage the parents to continue reading to them. So... if you want to contribute to this wonderful project, drop off children's books near the elevator anytime before February 3rd. Thank you!
