The US Softball beat Ursuline Academy 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs. The team played extremely well throughtout the seven innings. Once again Lauren Mercado took the game to Ursuline and started out with 12 strikeouts. Great and creative outfield plays by Kayln Speck, Cat Liles and a game ending outfield catch by Maddie Desrochers, led the Chargers into the Regional round next week.
