February Flies By .
International Day was a great celebration. Not only did the event build community, acceptance of all cultures and fun, it had a curriculum component. As the girls traveled from country to country and got their passports checked off, they saw flags, tasted foods, saw extraordinary artifacts and learned from volunteer parents about countries across the globe. Many thanks to Jennifer Pesek, Sally Munoz and Susan Knizner for planning this event with parents, Amy Walsh and Mary Angela Meyer. Many thanks also to all of the girls and parents who participated with performances, displays and food. It was a fun day for the Lower School.
