Dear Parents and Friends of Junior DASHers,

One of the strengths of Duchesne is the very strong partnership between families and the school that enriches the educational experience of our girls in academics, the fine arts, and athletics. Junior DASH has been a fine example of this special relationship, and we are grateful to all the parents who have contributed their time, energy, and heart to this successful program. As an administrative team, we are committed to improving our sports program.

In the fall we will begin a new and exciting phase in our commitment - one that focuses on sport specific fundamentals and age appropriate skill development. The Program will be called "Jr. Sports" but we will be teaming up with sport professionals who will educate and coach the students in grades 3 through grade 5.

In the fall we will have Albion F.C educate our budding soccer players. In the winter and spring we will have our own Varsity Basketball and Volleyball coaches educate our students in their respective sports.

Every season, parents will have the option to create teams to compete in the West Houston Christian Sports Association (WHCSA).

We would also like to extend very special thanks to Mr. Mario Anzaldua who has led this program for the last two years. He has been instrumental in providing good leadership, consistency and expertise through his dedication, donating enormous amount of time and commitment for our younger students to have this opportunity.
