USED TEXTBOOKS

Used textbooks can be sold back through MBS Direct Online Buyback. MBS Direct has one of the nation's largest buyback programs, offering you an opportunity to put more used books on the shelf for the next year and reduce the overall cost of textbooks. Download and read the Online Buyback Parent Guide and then click the link to the right to start selling back your books.

 

Online Resell will be May 27, 2010, 9:00 - 2:00 pm, Room 115. Bring books and quotes from MBS.

  


NEW TEXTBOOKS

MBS Direct is our exclusive on-line supplier for all of your textbooks in grades 5-12. MBS Direct for offers competitive pricing, superior customer service, reliability, and inventory. MBS maintains its own warehouse with over 7 million books. Here is how the on-line program works:

·         MBS will maintain a current list of our courses and the books required for those courses.

·         You can have access through the Virtual Bookstore at the link to the right.

·         Be sure to log in with your User ID/password to get your loyalty bonus. 

·         You may pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. Pay by check using mail order form.

·         Orders will be shipped within 24 hours.

·         All purchases over $99 will be shipped at no cost.

·         The Duchesne Virtual Bookstore at MBS Direct will open for Summer Reading on June 1 and for school books on July 1.

 

Upper School Students

Upper School students should receive their schedules in June Please have your schedule handy when ordering texts.

Middle School Students

Middle School students will receive their schedules when school begins in August in their Back to School folder. Schedules are completed in the summer. When ordering your books for a foreign language, please do not open the packaging or write in them if you are new to Duchesne. It is important to make sure that you are in the correct foreign language so that if there is a change you can return your books.  Fine Arts supplies can be purchased after school has begun. School Supply Information

All basic supplies will be provided for girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten thru Eighth grade.

Lower School supplies will be delivered to the classroom and available the first day of school.

Prepackaged Middle School supplies will be available for pick up on  August 16-17, 2010. All returning students should make sure that they have a 1 GB Flash Drive. New students will receive the flash drive in their bundle with their new computers. All 8th graders need to purchase a TI-84 Calculator (Silver Edition recommended) for their Algebra class.
